The Profitec MOVE is probably the most popular dual boiler espresso machine of 2025 and in this video I go over my thoughts after owning it for 20 months. Initially, I purchased this machine because I was looking for a dual boiler espresso machine and my budget was around $2000. There were machines like the Profitec Pro 300, Rancilio Silvia Pro X, and a couple others that I was considering, but when the MOVE was announced, it was a no brainer for me. Immediately I placed a pre-order in September 2024 and received the machine in early January of 2025. I unboxed it, set it up and immediately made my first drink. I noticed improvements over my Profitec Go right away in the taste of the espresso. This could be due to it being a dual boiler and better temperature stability, or maybe it was placebo effect. Nonetheless, using the MOVE was a joy every day because my workflow was so much simpler when making milk based drinks due to it being a dual boiler, I could brew espresso and steam milk simultaneously. I did have a couple small issues with the machine early on, but those were resolved with the help of Whole Latte Love. I found it very easy to work on this machine, and although i'm not the most handy person, I was able to repair it without sending the machine in. I'm pleasantly surprised with how consistent the espresso is and how easy it is to steam milk on this machine. I can get consistent results and make multiple drinks back to back with minimal wait times in between. Overall, this machine is great if you enjoy milk based drinks and don't want to deal with the hassle of using a steam boiler and waiting several minutes in between drinks. I'm looking forward to the MOVE 2.0 and will be excited to test it out when it's released. For now, I think the MOVE will be my daily driver for the forseeable future, and I still think it's the best machine under $2500 USD. If you can stretch your budget to $2900, I would consider the Profitec Ride as it has bigger boilers, flow control and E61 group head for better temperature stability. After 1 month of daily use, and over 400 doses put through the Mazzer Mini G, I'm seriously impressed with this product. Not only is the build quality top notch, but you also get a product that produces some of the best grinds i've ever seen. The Mazzer Mini G is hand made in Venice Italy and it shows. The build quality is impressive and you can tell there is no corners cut to make this product. With the 64mm Flat Burrs, you get a grind of 2-2.5g/s directly into your portafilter. The grinder...
